Mana Wrym & Event Dragon: How to maximize your damage, health and speed in events.

1. Mana Wryms/Mana Dragon
Mana Wryms/Mana Dragons is a Sylph/Silvani Race Support Unit that significantly boosts attack and attack Speed of all troops (Except Mech) and heroes on the field in Three stages.
1st Stage – One you deploy them they start sleeping/Hibernating and increase Attack speed and attack for every second they are asleep/Hibernating.
2nd Stage – The Mana Wyrms/Mana Dragons have an active ability that wakes them up which further gives massive boost to attack and speed to all your troops (except Mech) and heroes for 20 seconds.This ability is called Rude awakening and is an active ability.
3rd Stage –
Requiem for a dream: This applies to borrowed mana Wryms/Mana Dragons with research. After 60 seconds they automatically wake up and increase damage and attack speed of all friendly units (Except Mech) by 100% and inflict a penetration de-buff on all enemy units which will increase the damage the enemy takes by 10%.
Enemy overlords will take an extra 10% damage.
Why is this important?
The Nightfire and other event monsters including dragons have a trait called OVERLORD.
Mana Wryms are extremely helpful in these kinds of events for damage and speed.
A. “Off-Race” Mana Wyrm
- An “Off- Race” Mana Wyrm/Mana Dragon is when you switch to the Sylph/Silvani Race and train one then you switch back to your Race ( in this case Lich ) and keep it.
- “Off-Race” Mana Wyrms don’t benefit from Troop Research and don’t get the ability Requiem for a Dream. Regardless they are still very useful and impactful.
B. Borrowed Mana Wrym
You can have all the benefits of research on your Mana Wrym by borrowing from a teammate or from a secondary account of your own.
Pro Tip:
- Pro Players make a secondary account that they later transfer to a merged server that has their main account on it. They use this secondary account and dedicate it to the Sylph/Silvani race to loan Mana Dragons to themselves and other teammates. These accounts are usually known as ALT or ALTERNATE ACCOUNTS.
NOTE: DO NOT TRANSFER YOUR ALT ACCOUNT TO THE SAME SERVER AS YOUR MAIN ACCOUNT. YOU WILL LOSE IT PERMANENTLY. ALT ACCOUNTS CAN BE TRANSFERRED TO MERGED SERVERS ONLY.
2. Event Dragon
An event dragon is a dragon with 4 purple Skills & Trueshot Aura Predation. Let’s go over the purple skills and why it’s important.
2.a. Ferocity
This gives an overall Increase in attack of your Ranged Troop Units I.e. Archers, snipers, diabolist etc with some additional Buffs.
2.b. Barbarism
This gives an overall increase to the critical hit chance of both Melee Troop Units e.g. spearmen, samurai etc and Ranged Troop Units I.e. Archers, snipers, diabolist etc with some additional Buffs.
- Very useful for getting critical hit damage from your troops.
2.c. Alacrity
This gives an overall increase to your attack speed of your Ranged Troop Units I.e. Archers, snipers, diabolist etc with some additional Buffs.
2.d. Fortitude
This gives an overall increase to your health of your Melee/Frontline Troop Units I.e. Swords, Mechs, Samurai etc. with some additional Buffs.
2.e. Trueshot Aura
This is the Last skill on a dragon that cannot be learned. A dragon has to be born with this skill and it Significantly Boosts your Ranged Units Troop Attack with some additional buffs.
2.f. Magic Predation
Although Trueshot is the best predation to have for your event/Pve Dragon.
Magic predation comes in second and is a good alternative. Many Events like Nightfire monster, Certus in raids, the monsters, dragons and angels in divine trials are all magical creatures. Also, many Void stages and Pinnacle stages have magical creatures.
Magic predation is also very useful in the abyss.
Magic predation increases the damage you do to magical creatures by your dragon, troops and heroes with some additional buffs.
Pro tips:
- When going into the void. Go inside with your desired dragon and then go out and switch to your event/Pve dragon. The troops inside the void will inherit the purple skill buffs.
- Pro players usually create a research/building dragon with 4 purple skills and Trueshot predation on one dragon to increase its utility.
