Hello everyone, In this guide I'm gonna tell you about the dragon abilities and their functions like how to infuse or learn them.
Dragon is a very important and special magical unit in the art of conquest. Dragons have many distinct functions which can vary . Dragons can provide your units buffs during battle and also gives research and building speed bonuses.
In the art of conquest we get 5 different types of dragons and each dragon has unique abilities and role in the game.
In our previous guide we divided dragon abilities into 3 categories:
A. Dragon common abilities
B. Dragon greater abilities
C. Dragon racial abilities
In this guide we'll be covering the basics of dragon abilities and their functions. Dragon common abilities are the base abilities of any dragon and you can learn it on any dragon no matter their race. Dragon common abilities can be obtained by dragma.
You can learn dragon greater abilities on any dragon too but you can't purchase these abilities by dragma or dragon scroll. You can obtain greater abilities only from some specific events like finders keepers.
Dragon racial abilities are the base abilities of a dragon but it can vary. Each dragon race has their own different type of racial abilities which gives different effects or buffs. These abilities can be obtained by dragma and dragon ability scrolls.
Levelling and Infusing abilities
Increasing the ability level and infusing an ability |
In the art of conquest you can level up the abilities with soul fire and strengthen the ability effects. Dragon abilities can be promoted upon reaching level 12, 24 , 36, 60, 72 and 100. Unlocking the designated milestone effect of ability and thus providing a bonus effect.
All dragon ability slots have its own rarity. Dragon abilities are green upto level 36 (Lesser), Blue up to level 60 (Improved), Purple upto level 72 (Greater), Orange upto level 100 (Blessed).
The rarity of ability slots can be improved by using the infusing tab. In the infusing tab you can improve any ability slot rarity. Dragon essence and baby dragons of equal quality can be used to increase the infuse progress of a dragon ability.
When the progress bar is filled the max level of the ability will increase. Blessed (level 100) dragon abilities cannot be further infused.
Baby dragons used to infuse an ability will be consumed. The material that would be received by releasing a dragon will not be returned.
When you release or replace a dragon, dragon essence corresponding to the quantity of previously infused baby dragons will be returned to you, but the dragon glass, soulfire, dragon blood and dragon tears that would be received when infusing a dragon will not be returned.
Dragon essence provides the same amount of infuse progress as baby dragons. 1 dragon essence or a baby dragon grant's 5% progress.
Learning dragon abilities
You can exchange dragma and dragon scrolls for common dragon abilities. Learning a new ability replaces an existing ability.
If the dragon has an empty ability slot when learning a common ability, the new ability will take up the empty slot first.
You can replace an existing ability by learning a greater ability. Replacing a greater ability will return its value to you in dragon abilities.
Dragons can learn up to 2 greater abilities of the same type.
The new ability will inherit the current/max level and awaken the state of the ability it replaces.
When learning a talent that cannot be awakened, if the replaced talent has already been awakened, Dragon Essence consumed when awakening the replaced talent will be returned.
