Guide to F2P players For Head Start in New Realm
Guide created by: tHe_VeDhA
Hello guys, this is my guide for players who seek to be competitive in their respective realms right from the beginning of the game without spending any money i.e Top almost all the events possible.
It might not be so simple for new players as it is meant for those who want a fresh start and be successful in it.
1. First, in order to be competitive in the early portions of the game (i.e Pre-Merge) the first thing everyone needs is potions, especially energy pots.
The few points to amass potions even before the events starts are as follows,Every time you level up a hero(which we will do a lot in the start) it will gain 6 energy and 6 mana and it will exceed the limits.
A tip is to clear almost all of the neutral camps with the extra energy (Don’t clear neutral camps with pots it is not worth it)
- Next don’t use more than one or two hero at max three to clear a dungeon or a neutral camp.(It might not seem as a big deal but if you follow both the up given tips you wont need to spend a single potion till the events start)
- Remember to buy all the potions in the shop twice a day.
- PS: Try to minimize sieging the neutral cities all by yourself, get your housemates to help. (It is easy to spend a lot of pots while doing so..)
2. Second in order to be in war with the other players in the realm we have to try to top as many events as possible, here are some preparations that we can make from the start:
- Tactics trainer , you don’t have to complete those as soon as you get them, the reason is they give a ton of resources especially rare resources. So if you could save them for a week a resource rush event is sure to pop up soon.
Then you can easily clear them for a head start especially when one doesn’t have many chests.
- Second don’t take the resources(especially the rare resources) from the neutrals than needed because a neutral camp often gives 50 rare resource which is half of a chest which is huge. (If you follow both the tips you are sure to hit the top spot in the realm in rare resource rush).
3. Third the research and buildings, focus on only 2 troops and siege machines (Yes siege is needed to top both city clash and honor event early on). Further don’t bother to upgrade buildings other than your troop buildings, academy, outpost and in some cases hospital.
- Also read:

4. Next for your city tiles, go for construction one ASAP till you reach 19 or 20 then shift to a research one once you unlock the hero upgrades , this applies only if you happen to get a governor spot (If else just jump cities for queuing both research and building).
After 20 I prefer research spots more because without patron we need to queue research a lot when compared to building which is usually longer.
5. Then as for which events to focus on:
- Go for all the clear an enemy neutral where the higher stared the neutral the better(eg: Chaos cultists, etc..) and do your best.
- Do alternate resource rushes if a gold rush comes don’t go all in and wait for the next one.
- Always go for city clash which will be your top priority.
- Honor event comes next which you can go if you happen to have First Sword or Royal Guard or King which will increase your chances of winning exponentially.
- Try for power prize fights but it will be kinda difficult.
- Out of the big 3 events (City Clash, Honor, Golem) it is the least priority especially if you are not in a strong house in terms of linari but the chest you get out of them helps a lot.
6. Then for spending the hard earned linari, always buy only the hero chests until you have your core heros which would be like bazric, elena, ophidia and 2 or 3 of your race specific heros.
After that you can either go for a true ruby by going 125 rolls in dice ( Mostly preferred ) or go for more heros.
7. Dragon which is big factor in the game is not only for pvp especially in early game. Try to get a dragon with the yellow ability which gives 5% construction speed as soon as you hit 10.
Then try to get a dragon with all 3 yellow abilities and get it to level 12 and get all the construction and research bonuses. Then only after that go for a second dragon which would be your pvp one.
8. As for void and abyss don’t stress too much early on try your best. They will become much easier once you get bazric.
9. Finally you should always be ready to grind in order to be successful there is no other way.
Thank you for reading this post.
