In this guide we will cover hero placements for tier 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 of the rage sections of hero mastery

Table of Contents

So, let’s get into it.

 2. Rage (RED)

Rage is tailored to physical damage related heroes like rogues and gladiators.

A. Rage II

Weapon enhancement: Physical damage and attack speed +17.5%

Heroes: Nora, Saizo, Bazric, Mako, Sprig

This bonus is best suited to heavy dealing physical damage heroes that have powerful physical auto attacks.

Notes:

- Events: any non-physical damage powerful auto attack hero can be placed here such as Vallari depending on the need for increased attack speed for events.

- Stacking: the increased Physical damage and attack speed bonus will stack with similar effects from artifacts and hero gear.

B. Rage IV

Exact Precision: Range +5, Crit Hit Rate +25% and Crit Hit Damage +40%

Heroes: Nora, Vallari, Saizo, Jaques

This is more suitable for heroes with AoE (Splash/Split/Sputtering) damage to stay back in the formation with increased range and deal damage but can be useful for heroes that deal massive single target damage like Saizo to stay back in the formation and deal heavy damage to enemy Rufio for example.

Notes:

- Stacking: this stacks with hero skills or artifacts, prism and gear with similar effects

Artifacts such as the Sunbow with +25% range and +30% critical damage can stack to give extra range and extra critical hit damage with this tier.

+5 Range means extra 5 tiles in the formation and will stack with Sunbow artifact +25% range increase and Eye of Nerokles trinket with +20% attack range bonus which when combined can make a hero stay all the way at the back in your formation away from enemy reach.

C. Rage VI

Guerrilla Warfare: First basic attack to each target deals extra physical damage equal to 200% attack.

Heroes: Bazric, Mako

This is suitable to rogue heroes with very high attack speed stat and high attack stat and physical damage heroes that can change enemy targets quickly.

Notable mention: Rufio

This could be good on Rufio because Rufio has mobility with his active skills with the potential to attack different units.

Notes:

- This works well with physical damage heroes that deal damage and have very fast auto attacks.

- This bonus will only affect during the first attack on any enemy unit and will only be applied once.

D. Rage VIII

Deadly cut: Might +20; the selected hero will be given a 12% physical penetration effect while dealing physical damage to a target which can be stacked 4 times.

Heroes: Denji, Rufio

This is more suitable to Denji because Denji has a similar effect called Weakened Armor. Denji’s dumpling ability and staff has a good range (Area of Effect) and can impart this Effect on the frontline troops of the enemy quciker.

It is also suitable for Rufio because Rufio has a skill called Whirling Blade where he spins through the enemy ranks with a good AoE (Area of Effect) that will reduce the enemy’s physical damage resistance as he spins through them.

Notable mentions: Jacques

Jacques has good area of effect skills both active and passive that can inflict this effect on the enemy.

Notes:

- Physical penetration effect means the enemy will take more physical damage.

E. Rage X

Battle Brutality: Attack and attack speed +3% at each attack (can be stacked 20 times).

Heroes: Nora, vallari, saizo

This is suitable for heroes with powerful AoE damage

Notes:

- This is great for heroes with strong auto attacks (passive).

Stacking: This stack to be 60% extra attack and attack speed and can stack with similar effects from artifacts and gear.
