List of all common dragon abilities

Hello everyone, In this beginners guide I'm gonna tell you about all common dragon abilities. Common abilities are the base abilities of a dragon and you can learn it on any dragon no matter their race.

All common abilities can be purchased by dragma. Dragma cost can vary. In the game right now we have 20 common abilities.

Some common abilities provide dragon health & damage mitigation, some abilities provide construction & research speed buffs and much more. 

1. LOGISTIC ACUMEN 
LOGISTIC ACUMEN

This ability increases the amount of gold, elixir, and lumber you receive from delivering resource wagons.

Ore Extraction: It requires acumen ability level 12. And this bonus effect further increases the amount of gold you receive from delivering wagons by 30%.

Primal Wisdom: It requires acumen ability level 24. This effect increases upgrade research speed by 5%.

Efficient Logging: It requires acumen ability level 36. And this bonus effect further increases the amount of gold you receive from delivering wagons by 30%.

Time Flies: It requires acumen ability level 60. This effect prolongs the free building rush timer by 5 minutes.

Magic Condensation: It requires acumen ability level 72. This effect further increases the amount of elixir you receive from delivering resource wagons by 30%.

Ancient Intellect: It requires acumen ability level 100.This effect increases upgrade research speed by 15%. 

This ability increases the research speed and increases the amount of resources you receive from wagons. 

2. TREASURE HUNTING 
TREASURE HUNTING

This ability increases the amount of gold, elixir, and lumber you receive from dungeons.

Nose For Gold: It requires hunting ability level 12. This effect further increases the amount of gold you receive from dungeons by 30%.

Eternal Insight: It requires hunting ability level 24.This effect increases upgrade research speed by 10%.

Nose For Lumber: It requires hunting ability level 36. This effect further increases the amount of lumber you receive from dungeons by 30%.

Time Flies: It requires hunting ability level 60. This effect prolongs the free building rush timer by 5 minutes.

Nose For Elixir: It requires hunting ability level 72. This effect further increases the amount of elixir you receive from dungeons by 30%.

Building Mogul: It requires hunting ability level 100. This effect increases building construction speed by 10%.

3. AFFLUENCE 
AFFLUENCE ability

This ability increases your stronghold's gold, elixir, and lumber production speed.

Building Magnate: It requires affluence ability level 12. This effect increases building construction speed by 5%.

Gold Baron: It requires affluence ability level 24. This effect increases your stronghold's gold storage capacity by 50%.

Lumber Baron: It requires affluence ability level 36. This effect increases your stronghold's lumber storage capacity by 50%.

Building Mogul: It requires affluence ability level 60. This effect increases building construction speed by 10%.

Elixir Baron: It requires affluence ability level 72. This effect increases your stronghold's elixir storage capacity by 50%.

Unassailable: It requires affluence ability level 100. It reduces the injury rate of enemy Commanders when attacking your stronghold by 15%.

So these 3 dragon abilities provide you building & research acceleration and also increase your resources production. Make sure you have a dragon with these 3 abilities for building and research acceleration buffs.

If you're a beginner then first get a dragon with these 3 abilities and upgrade them so you can get the research and building acceleration bonus. So instead of focusing on a PvP dragon first get a dragon with these 3 abilities or learn these 3 abilities on your first dragon.

4. ALACRITY 
Showing alacrity ability

This ability increases the attack speed of friendly non-hero ranged units.

Human Alacrity: It requires alacrity ability level 12. This bonus effect increases the attack speed of Humanoid units by 5%.

Magical Alacrity: It requires alacrity ability level 24. This bonus effect increases the attack speed of magical units by 5%.

Ranged Resolve: It requires alacrity ability level 36. This effect increases the health of non-hero ranged units by 5%.

Fortified Armor: It requires alacrity ability level 60. This effect increases the attack speed of Mech units, excluding siege weapons by 5%.

Undead Alacrity: It requires alacrity ability level 72. This bonus effect increases the attack speed of undead units by 5%.

Draconic Will: It requires alacrity ability level 100. This effect increases the bronze supply cap by 100.

5. BARBARISM 
Barbarism

This ability increases the critical hit chance of friendly non-hero melee units.

Human Barbarism: It requires barbarism ability level 12. This bonus effect increases the critical hit chance of Humanoid units by 5%.

Magical Barbarism: It requires barbarism ability level 24. This bonus effect increases the critical hit chance of magical units by 5%.

Barbaric Blows: It requires barbarism ability level 36. This effect increases the critical hit chance of non-hero melee units by 7%.

Fortified Armor: It requires barbarism ability level 60. This effect increases the critical hit chance of Mech units, excluding siege weapons, by 5%.

Undead Barbarism: It requires barbarism ability level 72. This bonus effect increases the critical hit chance of undead units by 5%.

Draconic Will: It requires alacrity ability level 100. This effect increases the bronze supply cap by 100.

6. FEROCITY 
Ferocity ability

This ability increases the attack of friendly non-hero ranged units.

Human Ferocity: It requires ferocity ability level 12. This bonus effect increases the attack of Humanoid units by 5%.

Magical Ferocity: It requires ferocity ability level 24. This bonus effect increases the attack of magical units by 5%.

Ferocious Projectiles: It requires ferocity ability level 36. This effect increases the critical hit chance of non-hero ranged units by 5%.

Fortified Armor: It requires ferocity ability level 60. This effect increases the attack of Mech units, excluding siege weapons, by 5%.

Undead Ferocity: It requires ferocity ability level 72. This bonus effect increases the attack of undead units by 5%.

Draconic Will: It requires ferocity ability level 100. This effect increases the bronze supply cap by 100.

7. FORTITUDE 
Fortitude ability

This ability increases the health of friendly non-hero melee units.

Human Fortitude: It requires fortitude ability level 12. This bonus effect increases the health of Humanoid units by 5%.

Magical Fortitude: It requires fortitude ability level 24. This bonus effect increases the health of magical units by 5%.

Agile Footwork: It requires fortitude ability level 36. This effect increases the evade chance of non-hero melee units by 3%.

Fortified Armor: It requires fortitude ability level 60. This effect increases the health of Mech units, excluding siege weapons, by 5%

Undead Fortitude: It requires fortitude ability level 72. This bonus effect increases the health of undead units by 5%.

Draconic Will: It requires fortitude ability level 100. This effect increases the bronze supply cap by 100.

These 4 abilities provide you attack, attack speed, health & critical hit chance bonus for friendly troops and also increases the troop army cap supply. These abilities are good for events and void mirror.

Upon reaching level 12, 24, 36, 60, 72 and 100 the ability can be promoted. Unlocking the designated milestone effect of the ability and thus providing a bonus effect.

8. ARCANE BLESSING 
Arcane blessing ability

Arcane blessing is a important ability for a PvP dragon. This ability increases magic damage and healing efficacy. And it also grants a bonus effect which reduces dragon's ability cooldown by 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds. 

9.Magic Swell 
Magic Swell ability

This ability releases a wave of magic when abilities are cast, damaging and reducing the magic resistance of enemies struck by the wave by 5% for 12 seconds. Can stack. 

Each wave deals magic damage. This ability can deal decent damage in early game and also enemies can struck by wave so it's very helpful ability for a PvP dragon.

Bonus effect: Reduces magic resistance by 5%/6%/7%/8%/9%/10%.

10. Cosmic Storm 
Cosmic storm ability

Cosmic storm is a good ability for a PvP dragon. This ability calls down meteors upon 6 random nearby enemies, dealing magic damage and blinding them for 3 seconds. Blinded enemies have greatly reduced hit chance. Meteors deal 0.5% of the dragon's current health plus 40 in magic damage.

Bonus effect: Summons 1/2/3/4/5/6 additional meteors and prolongs blind duration by 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds.

11. Fatal Blows 
Fatal Blows ability

This ability increases the dragon's critical hit chance by 5%.

Bonus effect: Critical hit damage increased by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%/30%.

This ability can be helpful in earlier levels but later it's useless.

12. Storm Wings 
Storm Wings ability

This ability increases the damage mitigation by 10% from ranged units.

Bonus effect: Increases dragon's evade chance by 10%/12%/14%/16%/18%/20%.

This ability is very helpful in early game. It increases the survivability of your dragon.

13. Energy Pulse 
Energy Pulse  ability

This ability releases a pulse of violent energy, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies.

Bonus effect: Reduce pulse interval by 1/2/3/4/5/6 seconds.

Energy Pulse can be useful in duels but overall it's good in early game.

14. Derision 
Derision ability

This ability mocks nearby enemies, forcing them to attack the dragon for 4 seconds. Derided enemies who attack the dragon take 100 physical damage.

Bonus effect: Duration is increased by 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds and range is increased by 20%/40%/60%/80%/100%/120%.

Not very useful in early game because dragon can easily die. 

15. Sanguine Vines 
Sanguine Vines ability

This ability summons killer vines to root nearby enemies for 2 seconds, dealing 100 magic damage per second.

Bonus effect: Prolongs root duration by 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds.

This ability can be useful in duels in early game because it provides Crowd control.

16. Primal Will 
Primal Will ability

This ability recovers the dragon's health every second.

Bonus effect: Recovered health is increased by 25%/35%/45%/55%/65%/75%.

This can be helpful in early game. If your dragon die in the beginning of the battle then you can use it this ability, it'll increase the survivability of your dragon.

17. Bestial Roar 
Bestial Roar ability

This ability terrifies nearby enemies, dealing physical damage to them. Enemies have their physical damage resistance reduced by 10% for 6 seconds.Deals 568 physical damage.

Bonus effect: Reduce physical resistance by 2%/4%/6%/8%/10%/15%.

This can be useful for human, rakan or dwarf players because it reduces the physical resistance of enemy troops and these 3 races deals physical damage.

18. Hardened Scales 
Hardened Scales ability

This ability increases the physical damage mitigation by 8%.

Bonus effect: Increases dragon health by 3%/6%/9%/12%/15%/18%.

19. Arcane Scales 
Arcane Scales ability

This ability increases the magical damage mitigation by 8%.

Bonus effect: Increases dragon health by 3%/6%/9%/12%/15%/18%.

20. Calamity 
Calamity ability

This ability renders the earth, damaging and stunning nearby enemies for 2 seconds. Deals 360 physical damage.

Bonus effect: Increases stun duration by 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds.

Aura abilities 

These abilities are also a part of common abilities. This type of common abilities are given to the dragon upon hatching it. 1 dragon can have maximum 1 aura ability. 

These abilities cannot be purchased or learned on a dragon. This ability can still be replaced when learning other abilities.

These abilities provide strong buffs or debuffs and are essential to your dragon’s strength. As for new players, the recommended aura ability to look out for in the beginning is true shot aura, as it buffs your ranged troops against any enemy and helps you advance faster in events or the magic mirror.

There are 7 aura abilities in the game.

1. Hero predation  
Hero predation ability

Increases the damage dealt to enemy heroes by 25% by friendly units when on the battlefield.

Bonus effect: Reduces the accuracy of enemy heroes by 15%.

Reduces the attack speed of enemy heroes 15%.

Increases the critical hit chance of friendly units when attacking enemy heroes by 15%.

Increases the critical hit damage of friendly units when attacking enemy heroes by 15%.

Reduces the damage of enemy heroes by 15%. 

Hero predation is most important ability for a PvP dragon. Without this ability a PvP dragon is not perfect so you must have this ability on your PvP dragon.

2. Trueshot Aura  
Trueshot Aura ability

Grants an additional damage to friendly non-hero ranged units when on the battlefield.

Bonus effect: Increases the attack of friendly non-hero ranged units when attacking enemy non-hero melee units by 4%.

Increases the health of friendly non-hero ranged units by 8%.

Increases the attack of friendly non-hero ranged units when attacking enemy non-hero ranged units by 8%.

Reduces the damage that enemy non-hero ranged units deal to friendly non-hero ranged units by 25%.

Increases the attack speed of friendly non-hero ranged units by 8%.

This ability provides troop buffs and it can be helpful in some events like Nightfire monster event, divine trials etc.. or you can also use it on your dragon in early game because in early game you can't afford a lot of upgrading stuff.

3. Warsong   
Warsong ability

Grants an additional damage to friendly non-hero melee units when on the battlefield.

Bonus effect: Increases the attack of friendly non-hero melee units when attacking enemy non-hero melee units by 8%.

Increases the health of friendly non-hero melee units by 12%.

Increases the attack of friendly non-hero melee units when attacking enemy non-hero ranged units by 8%.

Reduces the damage that enemy non-hero ranged units deal to friendly non-hero melee units by 25%.

Increases the attack speed of friendly non-hero melee units by 8%.

4. Human predation  
Human predation ability

Increases the damage dealt to enemy Humanoid units by friendly units when on the battlefield.

Bonus effect: Reduces the accuracy of enemy Humanoid units by 8%.

Reduces the attack speed of enemy Humanoid units by 6%.

Increases the critical hit chance of friendly units when attacking enemy Humanoid units by 8%.

Increases the critical hit damage of friendly units when attacking enemy humanoid units by 15%.

Reduces the damage of enemy humanoid units by 15%.

5. Undead predation 
Undead predation ability

Increases the damage dealt to enemy Undead units by friendly units when on the battlefield.

Bonus effect: Reduces the accuracy of enemy undead units by 8%.

Reduces the attack speed of enemy undead units by 6%.

Increases the critical hit chance of friendly units when attacking enemy undead units by 8%.

Increases the critical hit damage of friendly units when attacking enemy undead units by 15%.

Reduces the damage of enemy undead units by 15%.

6. Magic predation 
Magic predation ability

Increases the damage dealt to enemy magical units by friendly units when on the battlefield.

Bonus effect: Reduces the accuracy of enemy magical units by 8%.

Reduces the attack speed of enemy magical units by 6%.

Increases the critical hit chance of friendly units when attacking enemy magical units by 8%.

Increases the critical hit damage of friendly units when attacking enemy magical units by 15%.

Reduces the damage of enemy magical units by 15%.

7. Mech predation 
Mech predation ability

Increases the damage dealt to enemy mech units by friendly units when on the battlefield.

Bonus effect: Reduces the accuracy of enemy mech units by 8%.

Reduces the attack speed of enemy mech units by 6%.

Increases the critical hit chance of friendly units when attacking enemy mech units by 8%.

Increases the critical hit damage of friendly units when attacking enemy mech units by 15%.

Reduces the damage of enemy mech units by 15%.
